Statewide Cultural Festival-- It was a Wonderful Day!

NJ Students Take the Cake!

Each student was assigned one of the counties in New Jersey. They received a template of the shape and had to bake and decorate a cake to resemble their county. Mrs. Vaccaro assembled all of the counties in the shape of New Jersey and invited the students and their families to eat the cake while Celebrating NJ!

New Jersey Song Introduced in Legislature
New Jersey is one of the few states without it's own State Song. Singer-songwriter Nelson Trout offers "New Jersey USA" as a possibility. Nelson tells us that Assemblyman Jeff Van Drew is introducing a bill to have this song become New Jersey's official state song.
